We focus our work in states that have the greatest need and the potential for impact.
Bihar
Bihar has been one of our longest-standing state partners, with a formal government partnership dating back to 2016. As one of India’s largest states, progress in Bihar is crucial for the country’s progress as a whole. Our work across maternal and child health, infectious diseases, agriculture, and women’s economic empowerment is central to impact at a national scale.

Uttar Pradesh
Since 2013, we have partnered with Uttar Pradesh—India’s most populous state—to advance work across priority areas. Given its scale, progress in UP can ripple out nationwide, influencing outcomes far beyond the state.

Odisha
Odisha’s rain-fed smallholder farmers face climate shocks and resulting market swings. Support for agricultural innovation anchors our decade-long partnership there. Our work has since expanded to women’s economic empowerment, infectious diseases, and foundational literacy.
Assam
Assam’s tea gardens, hilly terrain, river belts, and international borders make equitable healthcare especially challenging. We partner with the Government of Assam and its network of medical colleges to strengthen immunization, maternal and newborn health, tuberculosis care, and primary health care.
Meghalaya
Communities in Meghalaya, especially tribal areas, are spread across hilly, forested terrain, making quality healthcare hard to reach. We partner with the Government of Meghalaya to accelerate progress on maternal, newborn and child health, reduce infectious diseases, and deploy digital tools to strengthen health systems.
Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh is one of the states where India’s agricultural digital public infrastructure—like AI-driven farm advisory—is being scaled. As part of our partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, we also support systemic efforts for women’s economic empowerment.
